We had an extra special family movie night experience last week! This Mario-loving family dove right into THE SUPER MARIO BROS MOVIE! We were all stoked to learn that this movie was in production last year, and couldn't wait for it to come to the big screen. Hubby and the kids saw the movie in theatres a couple of months ago and loved it! We had the chance to watch the movie all together at home on digital, and it was epic!
My hubs and I grew up playing the original Mario and Super Mario games, and it's been a lot of fun for us to share our love of those games and characters with our kiddos. For movie night, we popped some corn, huddled up on the couch, settled in, and joined Mario, Luigi, and all of their friends on a cool adventure!

I'm a huge Super Mario Bros. fan and I've been playing Nintendo games for as long as I can remember. I first saw the Mario Bros. movie with my dad and sister when it first came out. We got another chance to see it with my mom and baby sister at home last week. Here are my thoughts on the Super Mario Bros. Movie.
I (personally) thought it was a great movie. I loved seeing the world of the Super Mario Bros. come to life in this animated masterpiece. I never thought that there would even be a Super Mario Bros. movie. When I first heard about it, I was extremely shocked. In the movie, the creators paid extreme attention to detail and that is what made the movie so fascinating. They included things I would never have imagined in the movie. I loved the outstanding graphics and gripping storyline that made the movie so amazing. I also had fun sitting on the couch and singing "Peaches".
I loved seeing the Mario universe come to life. The voice actors did an outstanding job with their characters and I couldn't have been happier with who the creators chose. I thought that the Mario movie would follow the original story of Peach being captured and the Mario Bros. would come and save the day, but no, the storyline was phenomenally better than I had assumed. There were beautiful backstories and scenes that moved me to tears because they were so beautiful, and scenes that were so hilarious, they made me laugh out loud. I think the creators of this movie did an outstanding job to make Super Mario Bros. come to life in this animated adventure. I also think that this movie will hold a special place in all Mario Bros. fan's hearts.
