Student life can be busy and stressful, which is why you need a party every now and again. Maybe you are meeting up with student friends for a shared interest, a birthday, or a sporting occasion, or maybe you simply want to create a gathering with party food to enjoy student life.  


Veggie Platter 

If you want to entertain student friends but you are also health conscious, one of the best options is a veggie platter. Let’s face it; most people don’t mind whether they are eating a cracker, a pringle, or a carrot; at least, they don’t if you have some smashing dips as well. 


That’s the point. Make some special dips for your party, and people will enjoy the finger food just as well, and nobody will feel bloated or go home with extra body weight. Some of the best veggies for a veggie platter are carrots, celery, and even mushrooms. Make or buy the dips.   

Fruit Salad 

What could be better than a fruit salad at a student party? A fruit salad is bursting with flavor; it is also bursting with vitamins and minerals that support the healthy function of the brain and body - exactly what you all need to ace exams, ace the yearly exams, and beat the competition.  


Some of the best fruits to include in a fruit salad are strawberries, grapes, pineapple, and mango, but any fresh fruit can go into the mix. If you want to make the fruit salad more interesting, you can always add some nuts and seeds for extra crunch to satisfy your guests.

Surprise your student guests at your dorm party with a jalapeno popper dip! Even the guests that don’t tend to like spicy food will take an interest in this tasty-looking side, especially when they see so many overawed expressions at the table. Party food doesn’t get better than this. 


Make sure you have a bowl of jalapeno popper dip for your next party; it is super simple to make, and you will appreciate the leftovers - that’s if there are any, which is doubtful. The recipe can be put together in under thirty minutes, and you can serve the dip heated up or cold. 

Guacamole and Chips

Pita Bread and Hummus 

Another health-snacking dip that you don’t want to be without at your student party is hummus. Hummus is made from chickpeas and contains plenty of protein; it also comes in a wide variety of flavors. Eating hummus with pita bread is delightful, so make sure to treat your party guests.
