SOMMARØY GIN

Sommarøy Gin is hand-crafted using legacy distilling techniques. Twice-distilled with botanicals in a 100-year-old copper pot still, Sommarøy delivers a clean, smooth Gin at a lower 55-proof. Pleasant to sip and delightful to shake or stir into a cocktail, Sommarøy Gin’s top notes are bold additions to the party. Botanical juniper, plucky lemon peel, and spicy coriander set the stage. Then, the warmth of Sommarøy sets in with the mellow bottom notes of sweet cassia and earthy Angelica root. The result is a rich, botanical nose, a balanced mouthfeel, and an elegant finish.

MY EXPERIENCE

I personally am a vodka girl so I was really excited to try Sommarøy Vodka. It doesn't have as much of a sour aftertaste as some other vodkas. The burn is not as rough giving it a smooth flavor. I mixed it with ginger beer and lime juice for a mule and it was absolutely delectable!

I gifted the gin to my friend that enjoys gin and tonic most days. She said she absolutely enjoyed it and she enjoys the earthiness of Sommarøy Gin.
