Exactly 2 years ago to the day, Vanessa and I made our childhood dream come true and went to our first NKOTB concert. While the experience was thrilling, it was not without issues. We drove 6 hours in the pouring rain for an outdoor concert where the rain never let up.
When showtimes came up for them closer to how, you know we had to go. I was online ordering tickets the moment they went on sale. This lineup of performers was groups we grew up loving. It was a blast from the past but so much more about the groups that inspired our love of music and expression.
Now, that I've been to a few concerts, I can honestly say this was my favorite one. The energy from the crowd and the performers was out of this world. My biggest moment from the night was when they got emotional over the support they got from the crowd. 35 years of performing and they are truly humble.
It has been a rough 2 years and being able to go out to a concert was much needed. The pictures don't do it any justice. The experience with my sister was something we waited for since we were kids. It's never too late to make a dream come true.
