There are many restaurants and franchises that serve Hot Chicken, and I've visited a few myself. Yet, as inflation increases, I am cooking at home more, and am “trying” to stick within my calorie budget, I haven't even visited our newly open hot chicken shack.

Now, I haven't tried the Fish Fry yet, but the rest of the products are absolutely great!

Using dredging chicken is something I highly dislike, but this chicken flour is super easy to use. Add water to chicken fry to create a mixture, dip the chicken in it, then dip it in more fry. Exact measurements are available, but it's going to depend on how much chicken you are cooking. There are even instructions on frying chicken.

Personally, for this go- around, I baked everything. I dredged my chicken and probably made my spice nowhere near as hot as a formal restaurant, but it was enough for me. I used the seasoning on my potatoes.

And the corn-bread. Y'all, corn bread is definitely a southern staple that people argue over. This cornbread is sweet and dry. It only needs some milk to concoct its delicious goodness. No matter whether you argue over whether grand-momma's or great aunt Sally's on your spouse's side has the best cornbread, be sure to try Chef Big Shake's.
