Are you ready for an inspiring passionate film that will tug at your heart? 

Show Me The Father will have every viewer reflecting on their relationships with their own fathers, whether good or bad, as well as with the Creator who brings us life. 

This movie shares several father-figure stories with us- including one surprise that will have you gasping from your seat! Hearing stories from  Jim Daly (Focus on the Family), Sherman Smith, Stephen Kendrick, and Dr. Tony Evans will take your heart on an unexpected journey, ready to experience God's goodness in your own life.  Calling you to lean into the trust and understanding of God's love, of God's great fatherhood for all of our lives. 

Hearing about the strength and failures of the earthly fathers in these stories will only remind you further of the faithfulness of the one who is always with us. Earthly fathers are not perfect and often that is reflected in many of our relationships. 

Yet, the Creator, the one who is perfect, shines through, giving us the ultimate example of fatherhood. Psalm 68 reminds us that God is a father to fatherless

I must admit, at first I wasn't sure how viewing a documentary would go, but the way that this film is set up is amazing. It intertwines all of the stories of those portrayed leaving the viewer wanting to know the ending, wanting to know the outcome, feeling like they are a part of the story themselves. 

I had the amazing opportunity to join a zoom call with the producers, Stephen Kendrick and Alex Kendrick as they reflected upon this film. These two brothers have produced other films such as Courageous, Fireproof, and War Room. They now bring us one amazing movie that features and showcases relationships. As sons and dads themselves, they want others to hear the stories of our true Father because then, miracles happen. 

The theme that they wish for all of us to see is hope. There is hope in this world. There is hope in and through God as our ultimate father. There is hope for our fathers here on earth. 

There is hope for the men in our lives who are our fathers, husbands, fathers to our children. Hope that we will be healed, that God's will be done, that God's love be shown. 

This is a must-see family film that will have you reflecting upon your own relationships as well as your relationship with the one who brings us life. In our earthly lives, our fathers may fail us, may have already departed from us, may have brought us pain or joy, but God, the one who is our ultimate father, is always with us.
