Happy Saturday, friends. I found out earlier this week that today is Global Love Day and I am absolutely loving the idea!

First, let's talk about what Global Love Day is- Since 2004, Global Love Day has been a day everyone can celebrate by helping to spread the message of love to everyone. Global Love Day was started by Harold W. Becker (Founder of the Love Foundation-a non-profit aiming to bring unconditional love back into the world). 

The Love Foundation has great suggestions on how to participate listed on their website (first link in post), including how to give a little love to yourself! As long as you are being safe and respectful, there really is no wrong way to show love. 

One way I'll be showing love is through music- listening to and sharing some favorites with my family. Of course, the first song that came to my mind for today is What the World Needs Now...(it's sort of been playing on a loop since I found out about the day). I hereby declare it today's "theme song".
