They may also offer classes such as poetry, knitting, or a wide array of other options. You can sign her up for solo classes, or a tandem where you can go or she can go with a friend. She is sure to love it!

Take Her Antiquing

If your mother is the type who enjoys shopping for interesting items, why not take her antiquing? Make a day of it so that she can relax and have fun browsing through all of the interesting items. If antiques are not her thing, maybe she would enjoy a trip to the farmer's market, where can buy browse through local foods as well as crafts and other things. Not only is it fun but you are helping to support your local economy as well.

Have A Family Night

This is an especially great idea because Mother's Day always falls on a Sunday. Invite your mom over to your house to cook together and if you have young children let them help as well. This way everyone gets to enjoy the quality time together. If cooking isn't really your thing, then order in and you can enjoy family time together. After dinner and dessert, make room for board games, trivia contests, or whatever you all decide.

Many women love reading, especially when combined with their favorite beverage.
