I have lived in New England my entire life and as a kid loved the changing of the seasons. As an adult my body does not like the changes so much. Since I became a driver I have disliked driving in the snow. Thankfully, the snow has been minimal in recent years, but this year is has come back with a vengeance.
Last week we got over a foot in 24 hours and tonight seems like we will be getting another. What a way to start the week. Anyone down south want to switch homes until the summer? Just teasing! As much as I don't like to drive in it, the snow is pretty and my dog sure loves climbing his new found mountains. I get time to spend in my home finding new things I love about it. It gives me time to think about what I have to be grateful for that I oversee when my mind is too busy with work and life in general. There is beauty in that.
The moral of my post is that sometimes the beauty of life is more than just what you see. It is what you feel or think. It is finding enjoyment from little things or taking time to see the beauty outside your backdoor.
I hope you all find the beauty in the day.
