Ahh.. winter. The time of cold temps, hot drinks, and dry air! Also the time of congestion, chapped lips, and that insatiable thirst for water when I first wake up in the morning. Normally, sinus infections hit me a couple of times of year, perhaps a round of Bronchitis, and a few colds here and there. With masks, lots of hand-sanitizer, and staying home this hasn't happened this year. 

This year, I am seriously struggling with the lack of humidity in my apartment. Perhaps its because in past years, I've spent more time in the office than at home. While we always need water to survive, I've found myself gulping down water several times a day because of the lack of humidity in my home! Not that water is an evil things- after all its great for our hair, skin, organs, and body as a whole, but its not good when the air is that dry in the home! 

As part of my wellness regime, I've definitely upped my water game, but also realized I needed to add some humidity into my home to help out my breathing and dryness issues. Along with more water and more humidity, I've also learned about the world of aromatherapy. Something I've always stayed away from is essential oils because various scents give me headaches. First: let's talk about the Halo XL. I don't have a lot of experience with humidifiers (more so with dehumidifiers after a hurricane), so this is somewhat new to me.
