Happy Saturday, friends! This week was a long one and even though I didn't think it was possible, I'm growing even more weary of all the time we spend around the house and away from our "normal" lives. I need a vacation, but I don't think I'd be able to relax if I took one right now-so road tripping has been on my mind a lot lately.
I'm not sure where (or how far) I'd like to go, but a trip to the beach might be nice, even if it is a little chilly. There is something so soothing (and mood-boosting) about the idea of walking on the sand with a nice warm sweater on, just watching the waves as the wind blows.
It would be great if we had a little pop-up camper to tow along. Then, we could travel almost anywhere and have our accommodations with us. We wouldn't have to wonder about how clean things are because we'd be doing all the cleaning. An RV would be even better because then we'd have slightly large accommodations AND a private bathroom.
Since we have neither an RV or pop-up, a simple trip to the beach will have to appease my road trip fever. Maybe I'll pack a picnic lunch and bring the camera along to catch a few pictures. We're about due for a new family photo, and I wouldn't mind the beach in the background.
