Axol is an adorable little salamander called an axolotl who is struggling to survive in his natural habitat.

This is the axolotl salamander that Axol was created to represent. The axolotl is an amazing little creature that is quite rare and native to central Mexico. They appeal to scientists because they have a unique ability to regenerate parts of their bodies. They are also quirky and fun!

Axol the plushie was created to be the adorable face for Axol and Friends. Axol is the main character in a book series that aims to teach children about environmental conservation and overall kindness towards everyone and everything on this planet. It's a beautiful message of hope.

The Axol plushie was the first product made to represent this movement and it is made with organic cotton and comes in a recycled material box. Axol and Friends were kind enough to send over some adorable goodies for me! The plushie is so soft and come with a certificate of authenticity as well as an explanation card which helps you understand how your purchase has empowered our youth.

Our kind friends at Axol and Friends have made it their mission to empower the youth of today with knowledge and passion to change the world. A portion of all sales will go toward funding after-school programs that focus on environmental issues and protecting endangered animals just like the axolotl. 

Children have the most amazing, bright minds. They are passionate and if given the right tools and the right information, have the potential to make big changes in this world.
