What better way to enjoy the summer sun than to get out and play in it? My family has been easing our way through this really funky summer. While it's so different in terms of travel, we knew we would take a family beach trip this summer, as long as beaches were open and people were social distancing. Once we had our trip locked into place for late June, I began my search for some fun travel games that we could easily pack and bring along to the beach, or even enjoy outside at home.
When our family travels to the beach, we're used to setting up on the beach and staying out all day. We set up a big shade, lots of beach chairs, pack along toys, boards, and lots of beach games, plus- a big cooler of sandwiches, snacks, and drinks. One of my biggest pet peeves is having to cart around obnoxiously oversize and clunky beach stuff. Finding games and gear that can quickly be dismantled and packed up into a handy carrying case are a must for me!

When we spend an entire day out on the beach, we simply must have games to play. Whether we're tossing around a ball, playing Bocce, or building a giant sandcastle, games are a great way to keep us moving and keep us all entertained- especially the kids.

The outdoor ring toss game comes in a handy carrying case with two handles. The actual product comes in pieces, but is easy to put together in less than five minutes. Just criss-cross the game pieces to make an X, and twist in the five tall pegs. Rope and wooden rings are included, along with additional plastic rings to help you keep score!

Everyone in our family has enjoyed playing with the ring toss game! It was perfect for the beach, and we've also really enjoyed setting it up and playing with it out in our backyard. It's easy to transport, and we're looking forward to upcoming family picnics and trips, so we can bring this cool game along with us for some additional fun!
