Thank you to Pilot Pens for sending us product for this review. All thoughts and opinions shared below are my own.
It's hard to believe, but it's already the first weekend of June and that means Father's Day is going to be here in the blink of an eye. The girls and I struggle every year trying to find a great gift (or two) for Matt and although he always appreciates everything he gets, sometimes things get put away in a closet and don't make it back out for a while. This year we decided to focus on something he needs and could use every day, but still WOW him!
Matt works as a warehouse manager and almost always has a pen on him. In a pocket, in a glove box, or right there in his hand! Every time we take the girls on a geocaching adventure I never have to worry about bringing a pen along because Matt, inevitably, has about a gazillion (slight exaggeration) in his car. This year though, we are going to add a little pizazz to his pen collection with the newest fountain pen from Pilot Pen, the Explorer. This pen exudes class and style and is made to travel with you wherever you go, helping to capture memories of your newest adventure or even a quick note.
The Explorer is truly a beautiful pen! |

What We Love
Not only is the pen great-looking, but it's also extremely easy to use. The girls and I added the (included) ink cartridge to give it a bit of a test run before presenting it to Matt. It was a quick and mess-free process. If you don't write often, this next part may sound a little silly, but I love the way this pen feels in my hand and it writes incredibly smooth as well. I'm currently experiencing a little pen envy, even though I have my own collection of Pilot Pens, but I'm sure Matt will let me borrow this if I ask!
