Allow me to introduce you to...

Fiona Rock Snowflake 

She is our brand new Doberman Pinscher. We could not be more in love! This precious little girl joined our family over the weekend and has been adjusting pretty well, I would say!

It has been about 13 years since I have trained a puppy, as my two other dogs are both seniors. It's not quite like riding a bike, but I do remember quite a bit and have done enough research to fill in the gaps. We are crate training her at night (which translates to not much sleep for this gal) and trying our best to get her potty trained each day. She is truly a joy. Having toy breeds for the last 15 years, a doberman is quite a departure! We knew it would be a new adventure for our family, but one we have never felt more prepared for. 

Our oldest girl, Molly will not be with us too much longer and she has been my sweetest friend for a decade and a half. It will hurt deeply to lose my Molly girl, but having sweet Fiona here is sure to soften our hurting hearts when that day comes.
