Our family's latest movie night was to watch DOLITTLE at home. After two weeks into our social distancing, a new movie was absolutely welcome! We laid out big pillows and blankets all over the living room and made a couple of frozen pizzas and had a movie/picnic night!
I absolutely love Robert Downey Jr., and the rest of the cast of DOLITTLE. My kiddos resisted wanting to watch this, afraid it would be boring at first, but after the first ten minutes, they were wide-eyed, wanting to know what would become of this crazy doctor and his cohorts.
The cast is phenomenal! I am a huge fan of Michael Sheen, so I loved seeing him in DOLITTLE. His performance was nothing short of stellar. DOLITTLE is an incredible adventure, and a wonderful story of bravery, courage, and reconciliation. RDJ is his wonderful self, yet sheds a whole new light on the character of DOLITTLE. It's the same DRJ we know and love, but there is no doubt that he completely becomes Doctor DOLITTLE in this fantastic movie.
My kids were engaged the entire time we watched this film. Of course, I shed a few tears along the way of this spectacular journey. There's adventure at every turn, and of course, lots of twists, turns, and surprises along the way.

I saw Dolittle at the theater and absolutely loved it! Robert Downey Jr. is fantastic in it. I'm looking forward to seeing it again now that it's out on blu-ray!
