During this phase of social distancing, the kids do need breaks every once in a while. Crafts, exercise, video games, and cooking/baking are only a few options. For anyone who loves video games and any type of big machinery, Construction Simulator 3 is a great option. With over 70 missions to complete, the game will be an adventure and a thrill for big machinery enthusiasts. 

Construction Simulator 3 takes place in a fictional European region of Illertal. In the beginning, you own a small construction company. Once you complete a variety of tasks, you get to be the biggest contractor in town. In addition to vehicles and machines of the famous makers Caterpillar, Liebherr, MAN, Palfinger, Bell, STILL, ATLAS and MEILLER Kipper, which have already made an appearance in the predecessors of Construction Simulator 3, you can now operate a number of officially licensed vehicles by newly added brands such as CASE, BOMAG, WIRTGEN, VÖGELE, HAMM and Bobcat.

The game includes numerous construction jobs starting with small delivery missions, earthworks, gardening and landscaping, the construction of houses and office buildings, road and bridge construction and even the construction of gigantic wind turbines. Special contracts challenge players to show that they are true masters of their trade.

This game was engaging for my son because of all the trucks and construction. There are so many missions and such a variety of heavy machinery that it will draw your kid into the game. Construction Simulator 3 offers so many different types and brands of vehicles as well as skills to explore.
