Happy Saturday, friends. I'm excited for today because it's time for our second sister's book club meeting of the year! A little later on today D, R, and I will be heading to my sister's house. Although I already know how we each feel about this month's read, I'm excited to dedicate some time to sitting with some of my favorite people to talk about it.

This month, my sisters and I read The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes. I've also spent much of this month reading other titles of this particular author. I'm actually currently reading The Horse Dancer, which I was hoping to have finished already, but I've gotten sidetracked. My new goal is to finish it by the end of the day, so that I can start March off with our next book club read,
Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn.

I've read more books this year than I have read cumulatively over the last 2 or 3 years. I have always loved to read and now that I have been making time for myself to read books that I (mostly) enjoy, I'm almost halfway to my reading goal for the year! Here's hoping I can continue to make time for myself to keep reading throughout the year.
