If I could sum up #motherhood in just one phrase, it would be 'handling it.' No doubt. A preschooler and third-grader at two different schools, with different schedules, a loaded work and volunteer schedule for myself, and a hubby who works the craziest hours in the world... mixed with family life and the expected day to day busyness... yes, handling it. How am I handling it? Some days, I have no idea what the day will wind up looking like.

Reality check- I'm a work-at-home, self-employed mom of two, who does endless loads of laundry, runs the dishwasher daily, is a secret chauffer, an impatient peace-keeper, cuddle monster, works from 5 am to 11 pm, and sometimes orders takeout for dinner. That's what handling motherhood looks like. It's leaning on mom friends while you navigate the craziness of motherhood together. It's early mornings on zero sleep and long nights. It's endless hugs and kisses from your littles, and no matter how old they are, you'll never stop telling them that they are your everything.
