Looking to get away this fall? A trip to the beach isn't just for summertime. In fact, my family and I enjoy visiting the beautiful beaches of North and South Carolina year-round. One of the best things about visiting the beach during the fall season is that it's usually still warm enough to walk on the beach and play in the sand, but as it cools off later in the day or in the evenings, it's perfect camping weather! Camping at the beach is something we've always wanted to do, but with a nine and three-year-old in tow, sometimes those 'want tos' are easier dreamed than lived out. Personally, I can't wait to enjoy lounging in and around one of the gorgeous Carolina Cottages during my family's weekend at Carolina Pines Resort. The cottages are sleek and modern while maintaining that cozy beach cottage vibe. I'm looking forward to having my morning cup of coffee out on the porch, enjoying the quiet. In the evenings, our family will enjoy building a fire right at our site, and making s' mores!



There are tons of on-site activities and events scheduled throughout the year, and this October, there are so many fun Halloween themed activities planned! We can't wait to join in the weekend Halloween Party, go trick-or-treating around the resort and check out all of the other fun and spooktacular things happening at the resort.

We'll plan to bring along our camping cooler, filled with some groceries from home. The cottage kitchens include everything needed to prepare meals on-site. If we forget something or need to purchase groceries, we'll just visit the resort store. We may even check out the resort's restaurant (with meal delivery service), and I'm sure we'll hit the snack bar once or twice!
