Teething Gift Set Perfect for Baby and Mom!

As most everyone knows, babies teeth. As every parent knows, teething makes babies uncomfortable; and it lasts off-and-on for around 18 months. Like a lot of kids, when my son Little Bear is teething, he sticks everything into his mouth, because the pressure helps relieve the discomfort. While he will chew on anything within reach, as the parent I know that some things are better for him than others.

This is where this teething set comes in! It's a set of three, toy, clip, and mitt, each chewable! First, the teething toy: my son absolutely loves this little butterfly; the bumps (which are actually hearts, how cute!) are basically little baby gum massagers! Second, the clip and strap are great because, while they match the set, you can also detach them, so they can be used with almost any toy or pacifier. I love how easy it is to attach, so my son can’t throw the toy onto the ground in 2.5 seconds like he usually does! While super easy to attach and detach, the clip is actually very strong once attached, Little Bear cannot yank it off (and trust me, he tried!)

Finally, the teething mitt is such an elegant solution to what I like to call “the thumb problem.” To my son, the thumb is the perfect teething toy: it’s a great shape, always close by, and mommy can’t take it away! But, because I would strongly prefer he not start the dreaded thumb-sucking behavior, the mitt is the perfect solution! He gets to chew on something even better for his gums and I get to know that he can’t reach that thumb at all! I also love the little elephant on the mitt; it’s super cute! The velcro on the mitt is sufficiently strong that my little Houdini can't get it off his hand, he even tried pulling with his feet and it stayed put!

Overall, this set gets 5 Stars from Little Bear and me! They do exactly what they’re supposed to: help with teething discomfort and offer enjoyment for baby! And, they are safe and healthy for him: they are made from 100% food-grade silicone and are non-toxic, BPA and Odor-free, and FDA approved!
