As soon as the first warm day of Spring visits, my little guys begin talking about our summer beach trip. We have been visiting North Myrtle and Myrtle Beach for about 8 years and have made some of the most precious memories along the way!

Myrtle Beach is the perfect beach to visit because it's a quick drive (3 hours and 45 minutes) and has endless activities, restaurants and resorts. We love staying at resorts that we have visited in the past, but I also enjoy discovering new places and making brand new memories. 

When I discovered the Sea Watch Resort right in the heart of Myrtle Beach, it almost seemed too good to be true. The amenities were endless, family-friendly vibe was evident and the sheer beauty could not be denied!

I snapped the above photo from our 9th floor balcony. We were spoiled with pools, lazy rivers, hot tubs, oceanfront tiki bar, fire pit, playground, game room, breakfast buffet and more! The Sea Watch Resort has thought of everything and it shows.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure my family had a memorable visit! We were greeted by the most beautiful basket of fruit, drink tumblers, cookies and a very sweet note that touched my heart! 

Being a blogger, I have had the opportunity to partner with some of the most amazing companies! The Sea Watch Resort went the extra mile to ensure we were taken care of and I really appreciated that.

Isn't this basket beautiful? We were greeted with some very special touches that made us feel right at home. I have actually been wanting a cup like this for some time now! 

The lovely folks at the Sea Watch even generously gifted us with a fun beach bag tote filled with goodies. The towel animals were an added bonus! I can't say enough how special this place is and we absolutely look forward to visiting again in 2020. 

Our first morning after a restful night of sleep, we headed over to the Captain's Cove for their popular breakfast buffet. Each item was delicious and the view, amazing.

This gentlemen is turning out freshly made waffles and omelets per request! My little guy asked for chocolate chips and strawberries to top his waffle. He loved it. The Captain's Cove is also open for lunch which I'm sure is just as fabulous. We chose to check out the poolside Tiki Bar for lunch the following day. Cheeseburgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, chips and more are being prepared right in front of you. When the grill gets fired up, you can't help but come and see where that aroma is coming from!

If a coffee shop is more your speed, the Captain's Nook offers Starbucks beverages, muffins, pastries, bottled drinks and ice cream. I'm not ashamed to say that I enjoyed three white chocolate mochas during our 4 night stay! Vacation is a time for splurging, right? That always sounds so convincing in my mind until I return home, ha!

Myrtle Beach holds a very special place in our hearts. My two little boys have grown up visiting every single year and the memories that we have made will be with us forever.

 Having a great place to stay is a huge part of what makes or breaks our beach vacations. You really never know about a resort or hotel until you give it a chance. Sometimes it can feel scary to visit a new place when all you have to go on are stranger's reviews. 

If you're thinking about visiting Myrtle Beach and feel overwhelmed by the magnitude of hotel and resort options, I hope this has helped to narrow down your search. Not only was I not disappointed, I was enthusiastically impressed. The staff at the Sea Watch like to call themselves "the friendliest resort on the beach". Having stayed at many resorts over the years, I would have to agree!
