Happy Sunday all.  Yesterday, I spent the day with my nieces and I have to say I was exhausted by the time they left.  At 7 and 11, it feels like a lifetime ago that E and J were that age.  How do kids have so much energy?

D is my first niece and the first person to call me Auntie.  She holds a huge piece of my heart.  At 11 she is the most mature and respectful girl I know.  Spending any time with her is amazing.  She doesn't need constant attention and can do so much on her own and be content.

R is so much like me.  I swear she should have been my daughter. My poor sister had to grow up with me and now raise a mini me. Vanessa, I give you so much credit. R is a wild child. She wants to assert independence so much but she is so petite it is hard remembering she isn't so little. 

We watched movies, played with legos, colored, and played outside with chalk.  Thank goodness E was here to help, because he has a lot more energy than this mama.
I love both girls like my own, but after 7+ hours I was ready to sit back and relax.
Moms with young kids in this day and age, I tip my hat and also the cup of coffee I need to recharge. You are amazing.
