Weekends with the Wigglesworths- The Last Weekend of 2018!

Happy Saturday, friends. It's hard to believe, but the last weekend of 2018 is upon us and I am (mostly) excited to see what 2019 has in store! While I'm waiting for the new year to begin, I'm going to focus and be thankful for all of the blessings we received in 2018.

A New Job!

I am working outside of the home again for the first time in nearly 11 years. It's part-time and not very glamorous, but I enjoy it and it's nice to see other adults during the day.

New Adventures!

D started a new school and this was R's first year in school without her sister. I was anxious for both of them, but they have truly been doing an amazing job. Both girls got top grades on their report cards and both were involved in their winter chorus concerts!

Making Hard Decisions for Peace of Mind!

This is something that I've struggled with nearly my entire teen/adult life. I always second guess myself or make myself feel like I'm being "overly dramatic", but this past year I've done a lot of reflecting and made choices that helped cut unhealthy and unnecessary stress out of my life. Some choices involved cutting people out of my life and others involved me not begging for forgiveness when people cut me out of theirs. There was lots of second-guessing and growing pains involved, but at the end of the day (and year) I know deep down these choices were the best for me.

Winning an Awesome Contest ON MY BIRTHDAY!

I entered a contest, on Twitter, run by the creator of one of my favorite shows. The contest was a cash donation to a charity of the winner's choice. I didn't win the grand prize, but Greg Garcia, out of the kindness of his heart, selected a few extra entries (including mine) and gifted $500 to each of the charities! In my entire life, I don't think I ever received a more awesome birthday gift.

Celebrating Another Year with My Mister!

In just a few more months we'll be celebrating the next anniversary, but earlier this year we celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary. I can't imagine anyone I'd rather live our crazy, chaotic, beautiful, love-filled life with.

These are just a few of the blessings that came our way in 2018. Let me know what blessings you received this year and how much you are looking forward to 2019!
