I have the flattest, blahest hair ever.  I have always struggled with finding a hairstyle that I actually like.  I got a haircut at the end of the summer and I actually really liked how the layers looked, but it was still too flat!  I don't use much product on my hair and really had trouble trying to scrunch my hair to get a little volume.  It just didn't work well.  I was so excited to check out the Voloom Rootie.  Wait until you find out how easy this is to use!

I watched a couple videos on the website to make sure I knew what to do.  I had another styling product that I had tried and got my fingers burned.  This did not happen with the Voloom Rootie.  I played around with the heat on it and decided I'd try it at about 320 degrees as recommend for fine hair.  Clips were included with the Rootie and I tried to section off portions of my hair so that I could get to the root.  I didn't to do great, but with practice I will become a pro at it.  I did nothing with the top layers of my hair....only worked with the bottom layers.  It took me about 5 minutes to use the Rootie and I felt like I did a pretty good job for my first time.  I sprayed my hair with hairspray and by the time I got outside to snap some pics, I felt like I had already lost some of the volume. I think that is just my hair...it is so fine and flat.  I will definitely keep using the Rootie and am happy to have found an easy product to use that I like.
