Happy Saturday, friends. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and have been enjoying these last few days.
Typically I am really excited once the weekend starts, but since we are on day 3 of our 4 day weekend, I'm feeling a little sad that it's already Saturday. Thankfully, we still have today and tomorrow and lots of activities around for us to take part in.
The first activity we will be taking part in today is putting our tree up. Every single year I strive to get it put up the day after Thanksgiving, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. This year I thought it was working out, but we basically just got the living room rearranged and the space for the tree set. That should make it nice and easy for us, later today though.

Something else I am hoping to do today is visiting one of our favorite spots, Gillette State Park, to check out their "Holidays with Friends at Gillette Castle" event. We love visiting the castle anytime, but I would love to see it decorated for the holidays and I've heard that Santa and Mrs. Claus may be making special appearances!

Tomorrow, our city is having their annual tree lighting event down on the green. I'm hoping we get to go, but it all depends on just how cold it is. We haven't gone since the girls were incredibly young, just about 6 years now.
