It seems like everywhere I look, I am coming across stories of awesome moms who are kicking butt and taking names, all in the name of justice. You may have even seen the trailer for the latest action thriller from STX, hitting theatres this Friday, PEPPERMINT. We're so excited to be able to offer MBP readers and friends the chance to see it a couple of days before the official theatrical release!
Peppermint is a high impact, Jennifer Garner led, action thriller which tells the story of young mother Riley North (Garner) who awakens from a coma after her husband and daughter are killed in a brutal attack on the family. When the system frustratingly shields the murderers from justice, Riley sets out to transform herself from citizen to urban guerilla. Channeling her frustration into personal motivation, she spends years in hiding honing her mind, body and spirit to become an unstoppable force – eluding the underworld, the LAPD and the FBI- as she methodically delivers her personal brand of justice.

I'm not usually the biggest fan of action/thrill movies, but this one looks so amazing! I love Jennifer Garner, and have never seen her in this type of role before. I know that Jennifer is a devoted mom, which strikes a chord with me. I'm a fairly gentle person, but don't mess with my family! I can't wait to see Jennifer kick butt in this movie as she fights for justice for her family after a tragedy occurs.
