Even though talk about puberty can be pretty uncomfortable for all involved, the way information is presented in this book puts the reader at ease. It's part guide, part diary, all informative and definitely something I wish was available to me as a tween/teen.

 The author, Adah Nuchi, does an excellent job of delivering pertinent information in such a comforting manner. This book was also vetted by a pediatrician, which makes this Mama feel even better about sharing it with her daughter.

D and I have a great mother/daughter relationship and we talk tons about (nearly) everything. This book came at a great time for us because, while she knows she can talk to me about anything and I will be honest with her, she still gets a little bashful with the subject of puberty. It makes me a little sad, but I totally understand. I remember my own feelings on the subject when I was going through it. I didn't want to talk to my mother about it too much, either. 

Thankfully, this book has answered some questions she had and has made her feel a (teeny tiny) bit more comfortable talking with me about them.
