Super Easy Peach Cobbler

My family loves fruit and fresh summer fruit is the best!!  We had some peaches that hadn't been eaten quick enough and were starting to get soft.  I found the best recipe for a super easy cobbler that was amazing.  I took it to my parents house for Father's Day dinner and the entire cobbler was gone at the end of dinner.
This yummy cobbler only has 3 ingredients and I happened to have everything I needed. You can use any fruit.  The actual recipe called for canned peaches, which I also used to have the juice from the can.  I had extra peaches in my cobbler since I used 3 fresh peaches and 1 can of peaches.  It was perfect.

Cake mix

My fresh peaches peeled and sliced.

Fresh and canned peaches in the dish.

Cake mix covering peaches.

Sliced butter on top.

Smelling delicious!

Yummy!

Ingredients needed:

1 dry cake mix (the recipe called for yellow, but I happened to have a white and it tasted great)
1 can of peaches
1 stick of butter

Preheat oven to 350.  Spray 8x11.5 oven safe dish with non-stick cooking spray.  Spoon peaches and juice into the dish.  Evenly spread cake mix over peaches.  Cut butter into cubes and place on cake mix.  Bake 45-50 minutes or until top is golden brown.  Serve with ice cream or cool whip.

I think I am going to try it with a can of apples next time.  I hope you will give this a try and let me know what you think.  Enjoy!
