You put a sensor on the garage door itself.
This was so easy to install! It probably took my husband 10 minutes to install. You simply put a sensor on the garage door itself. You then put another sensor on the ceiling by the garage door opener. It comes with all the hardware necessary and very clear instructions.
We didn't really have any issues with installing the app on the phone. The only extra step you may have is reprogramming your own garage door openers in your cars because the app can reset everything once you have it paired.
I have absolutely loved this product. I can close the door if we decide to go for a walk without hauling both kids back up the driveway. I can check to see if I actually closed it if I was in a rush or distracted (hmmm, I wonder why? ;)). I appreciate the easy installation and the product working well consistently.
