Well friends, it's a rare thing when I am away from the ins and outs of all things Mommy's Block Party. Today is surgery day for me, and while I'm having a fairly simple procedure done, I'm not looking forward to it. Surgery means that I have to rely on my husband a little (okay, a lot) more, and my regular routine will be interrupted for a few days. I don't deal with pain all that well, and am notorious for over-doing it when I am supposed to take it easy.

Thankfully, there are lots of wonderful people in my life who are helping to make things easier on me over the next few days. My parents and my mother-in-law are helping with the kiddos. My mom will be around to keep an eye on me and my littlest love during the day, while hubs is at work, and to assist with picking B up from school. Hubby gets the fun task of playing nurse and making sure I don't try to do too much too soon.

My wonderful MBP cohorts will be running the show for a few days, and I am extra thankful for them and their love for this amazing community. So don't worry- there will still be lots of great content coming your way in my absence. 

If there's anything to look forward to in all of this, it's getting to just take it easy for a while, and enjoy lots of hugs and snuggles from my sweet kids. Thanks to those who have wished me well and are sending good vibes my way! I appreciate it very much! I hope to be as good as new and ready to rejoin the block party in a week or so!
