Happy St. Patrick's Day! Are you wearing your green? Sadly, I'm not. I think St. Patrick's Day is a lot of fun, but we're not going to be able to partake in too many festivities this year. I just had surgery three days ago, and have a concert to sing on this afternoon, which will be a major stretch for me, as I am still recovering. I'm thinking of all of the fun crafts and activities I could be doing with my kids if I felt better, and am kind of sad not to be celebrating the day with green colored treats, good bear, and a hearty meal of bangers and mash.

I can't let the day slip by without at least recognizing it. After all, my kids are part Irish by way of my husband's grandmother. I was poking around this morning for some fun and festive activities we could do at home to celebrate their heritage, and came across a super cute coloring page printable (free) from the fine folks over at Crate and Barrel. I love Crate and Barrel, by the way! My hubby and I registered there when we were getting married, and have so many beautiful gifts from their store.

Baby S and I had a lot of fun coloring this St. Patrick's Day printable this morning while her daddy and Brubs were at a birthday party. Print one for each member of the family and display everyone's talents!
