Happy Saturday! This Mama is happy that the weekend is finally here, even though we did only have 3 days of school this past week. I'm looking forward to fun adventures, a trip to the movies, and a birthday party for my nephew, Ty!
Fun Adventures Await
So, I don't really have any adventures planned, but something amazing is bound to happen this weekend. It's supposed to be in the 50s today, and while that's not nearly as nice as this past Wednesday was, I'll take it over the typical February weather. Perhaps we'll go geo-caching if the rain stays away long enough. Maybe we'll visit the park. All I know is that we'll be taking advantage of this "heat wave" and spending time away from the house.
A Trip to the Movies
We didn't go see it last weekend because we try to stay away from theaters during opening weekends, so I am hoping we can see Black Panther this weekend! I've actually been tempted to go during the week while the kids were at school and Matt was at work, but then the "mom guilt" kicked in and I didn't go. If we don't get to go this weekend though, I'm going by myself on Monday. I've been waiting for this movie since we saw the character in Captain America:Civil War in May of 2016!
Happy Birthday Ty!
It's hard to believe it, but my nephew Ty is 9 years old! I feel like we just got the call that his Mama, my youngest sister, was heading to the hospital. He's been a handful since that day, but he is one of the sweetest most amazing boys in the world. I'm looking forward to celebrating him on Sunday and giving him his birthday gifts, which I have been holding onto for a couple of weeks now.
