Monster Jam rolled into the Spectrum Center in Charlotte over the weekend. We have had friends who have gone to Monster Jam for years and always have an amazing time. Aiden has asked several times to go but we just never had. We were very excited to represent Mommy's Block Party at the Friday night event. We had a blast!
For those of you not familiar with Monster Jam, I'll give you a little background. Monster Jam is the world's largest and most famous monster truck tour where world-class drivers compete in front of capacity crowds in racing and freestyle competitions.

The Scooby Doo was a favorite!
We had wonderful seats for the show. The Freestyle Competition was exciting to watch...You never know what one of the trucks may do. The Freestyle Competition is where the trucks perform tricks and stunts to show the driver skill and truck abilities. Freestyle events are judged competitions. The Grave Digger won the competition Friday night.

If you have never attended a Monster Truck event, I highly recommend it. It was so much more fun than I thought it would be. If you are bringing small children, I do suggest that you bring ear plugs or headphones. We didn't use them but saw many younger children who were. It wasn't as loud as I expected it to be. It was such a fun night! We will definitely go to another show. Head on over to Monster Jam to find an event near you!
