Happy Saturday friends! Unbelievably (at least to me), it is already the first weekend of December and we are closing in on the end of 2017. I'm really looking forward to the holidays, for the most part, but we still have some prep work to do.
First the Christmas Tree
While we didn't get it up the day after Thanksgiving, I am happy to report that it did get put up last Saturday. The only thing missing is the ornaments and maybe some garland. Since our tree is a "fake fir" we were working on getting the branches to look more full after being in storage. It's looking a little bit better today, but we'll still have to play around with it a bit.
A Few More Minor Decorations
Aside from the tree, we don't really decorate our house too much. It's mostly because we don't have too much space, but a small part of it is because the cleanup gets to be a little much. We'll put a few more decorations up on the mantel this year, including our Nativity Scene and, of course, our stockings, and I think that will be it.
Christmas Pictures and Cards
Last year we fell so far behind on this, I cannot even remember if we ever sent out our Christmas cards. Today, I am hoping to have a small picture session with the girls so that we can work on our cards and get them ordered by tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed that this year cards get sent out by the Wigglesworth Crew.
