For as long as I can remember, November is the month in which we express our thanks. There are the daily posts on Facebook for each day where we each express what we are thankful for. While the concept of this leads me to believe that people are remembering to express thanks and be grateful for what and who they have in their lives, I also believe this shouldn't be a once a year behavior or action.I want to express what I am grateful for everyday... sometimes I forget or am overwhelmed with other things that I forget to understand what it means to be grateful or thankful. The years go by too quickly not to recognize that the good and the bad things and people we encounter are put in our paths for a reason. The bad days are meant to show us how special the good days are.
Thankful for Love
I am thankful for the people I have in my life. I am overjoyed with the family and friends that are a part of my life. I am thankful for my husband: He is the perfect opposite of who I am and he balances out who I am. I am thankful for my children. They make me want to be the best version of myself. I am thankful for my coworkers who band together and work as a team and go above and beyond the term of coworker... they are my work family.
Thankful for Time
I am thankful for the days where I can wake up and enjoy the sunrise and sunset. I am thankful for the time I spend with my family and the time I spend following my passions. No tomorrow is ever promised so it is our duty and right to live each day to the fullest. What are you thankful for?
