Thanks to Jennifer at Satsuma Designs for providing me with product in exchange for sharing my honest thoughts.
My daughters are only 22 months apart, but they are totally different in almost every way! The oldest is all about princesses, flowers, and romance; the younger one loves to roughhouse and wants to be Maui when she grows up. Their differences make watching them grow up even more special.
Satsuma Designs is owned and operated by fellow mom and blogger, Jennifer Porter. It's important to Jennifer that Satsuma helps other parents choose the best quality clothing, toys and gifts and offers them all in one convenient location. Each purchase also serves her community in Seattle, Washington by helping provide formula to babies in need.
Jeniffer sent me two Satsuma Design tutus to review. Since they are designed to fit sizes 2-6, I thought the girls would be able to share. Boy was I wrong! Each girl fell in love with a style, and neither one is prepared to give theirs up.
Multiple layers of tulle and a satin lining help make these tutus stand out
Each style is very different, but have a few similarities (just like my girls!). They both have beautifully sewn hems and multiple layers of tulle. They feature a soft satin lining that is thick enough to make the skirts not see-through. I can't say those things about any tutus we've had in the past, and it shows that Satsuma takes pride in offering quality kids products.
Their differences show even in their fashion choices
This long, flowy skirt with a satin bow is perfect for my little princess
The short length and soft pastel colors add a feminine pop to jeans and a t-shirt
Gotta run mom!
My girls absolutely adore their Satsuma Design skirts, and so do I! They go from play dates, to church and to the park with ease. Since they are so well made, I don't have to constantly remind my daughters to be careful, and they get to play uninterrupted.
