I was really impressed by how quickly the mattress expanded. I thought that it was going to be a lengthy process, but honestly, it puffed right up and looked like a mattress ought to look within minutes. As I ran my fingers over the top quilted layer of the mattress, I noticed that it felt cool (not cold, but cool). That's because it's topped with tencel cooling cover, which wicks away moisture and helps to regulate body temperature! I couldn't wait to see how it worked as I slept on top of it.
