Oska Pulse: A New Way to Manage Everyday Aches & Persistent Pain + Oska Pulse #Giveaway ($399.00 RV)

Thank you to Oska for providing me with product in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts shared are my own.

When I was in college, I slipped and fell, and blew my knee out- not once, but twice! At the time, the doctors weren't sure if I would need surgery, so they put me in a knee brace and immobilized me for six weeks after each injury. For years, my knee has given me trouble. I know that surgery is inevitable at this point, but with two little kids at home, being out of commission for a few weeks is out of the question. I've used over the counter medicines, topical creams, gels and sprays to try to manage the pain for years, and the pain just seems to be getting worse. My knee pain keeps me from doing things I enjoy, like hiking, certain types of exercise, etc. I've been looking for an easier way to manage the pain without medicines or surgery, and I think I've finally found the solution to my pain problem.

Oska Wellness is committed to developing health and wellness technology-driven products that assist individuals in living a more active, pain-free lifestyle. The folks at Oska Wellness have created a phenomenal device that helps people manage their pain without medicine. Why the name Oska? It's a beautiful story. Oska was named after a koala who had been badly burned in a brush fire. The poor koala was crying in pain, not responding to treatment. A friend of the vet owned a PEMF device and suggested they place it near the koala because it reduced pain. Within a day, the koala stopped crying, in just a few days he started responding to treatment and a few months later he was released into the bush. The vet called the koala “Oscar” and we chose “Oska” because Americans and Australians say it the same way!

Now Oska Wellness is bringing the same PEMF device to people all over the world, giving them an alternative way to manage their pain and live active lifestyles once more.

Meet your new best friend- the Oska Pulse from Oska Wellness.

Oska Pulse is a wearable PEMF device, which targets an area affected by pain and delivers optimized PEMF at frequencies that promote capillary dilation, muscle ease, and pain reduction. It's easy to wear and use, and can be used multiple times a day, virtually anywhere. If you're always in pain, this is a wonderful alternative to popping countless pain meds or using topical remedies.

Oska Pulse comes with everything you need to manage your pain.

The Oska Pulse kit includes the Oska Pulse device, Oska band, charger, and user manual. Before I did anything, I read the user manual, which should always be your first step when testing out a new product. I wanted to pay close attention to the instructions since this device would be used on my body. An important note- pregnant or nursing moms should not use this device. There are also other health issues that may cause one to not be able to use this device. Check the Oska website for complete information. I am still nursing Baby S, so I only briefly tested the Oska Pulse for the time being. I plan to use this multiple times a day when S decides to be finished with nursing.

Charge the Oska Pulse by using the handy USB charger that comes with the device. Charging didn't take too long, and it was ready for me to use it a couple of hours later.

The Oska Pulse comes with a band that can be easily wrapped around the area you want to use the Pulse.

When you're ready to use the Oska Pulse, slip the device into the loop located on the band. Wrap the band around the area you want to target the pain. Since my pain problem is mostly associated with my knee, I wrapped the band around my bad knee. The Oska Pulse can be worn under or over clothing. Make sure the band is secure, but not too tight. You can adjust it by the easy Velcro strip on the side.

I tend to put my knee up at least once a day, so I used the Oska Pulse at the end of the day, when I was ready to rest my knee.

The device sent out pulses to target the pain and offer relief.

I didn't actually feel anything when the device was in use, which is typical. You're not really supposed to feel pulses, as the device is designed to allow you to go about your business without the device bothering you in any way. Some people do report a warming sensation around the area where the Pulse is being used, which is normal.

The Oska Pulse is easy to wear and use- at home or on the go!

I've used the Oska Pulse at home a couple of times, and I've also used it in the car. My knee often locks up on long car trips, and that was the case for me when I was on a recent trip with my family, which had us on the road for five hours.

Oska Pulse...

Relieves pain
Oska Pulse can help dilate blood vessels, which may reduce inflammation, increase blood flow, and release the body’s natural endorphins.

Promotes recovery
Oska Pulse helps break the cycle of inflammation and pain by activating a cell-specific negative feedback loop that promotes joint and muscle recovery.

Oska Pulse is for acute and persistent pain.
It’s ideal for everyday aches and pains, as well as persistent issues.

How to Use Oska Pulse
Long-Term Injury or Pain
Day 1 to 7: Use Oska Pulse a minimum of 4-6 times a day.
Day 7 to 30: Use Oska Pulse a minimum of 2-4 times a day.
Day 30 to 90: Use Oska Pulse a minimum of 1-2 times a day.
After day 90: Use Oska Pulse a minimum of 2-4 times a week.

I'll look forward to using this device, even more, when S stops nursing. The manual states that you'll have to use the device a few times before you notice real relief and that you should also drink more water once you start using it. My hubby and I are excited to give his mom an Oska Pulse of her own for her birthday this year. She suffers from constant knee pain, even after surgery. We're hoping that the Oska Pulse will allow her to manage her pain while she's at work and at home.

Here's a win for the ladies, the Oska Pulse can even be used to manage pain caused my menstrual cramps! I'll be using mine for this, as well and will be so happy to be able to kick the pain reliever pills to the curb.
