This summer, we've enjoyed visiting so many beautiful and fun places. It really has been the 'summer of us.' We had a major bucket list cross-off event this year, and it's been such a blessing to have those experiences with our children. Through all of our travels, we've done a lot of packing and a lot of laundry. On our second trip of the summer, I wised up and decided that I was going to stop packing so many outfits for each child. When I pack for myself, I pack different tops that I can mix and match with different bottoms. It saves a ton of space, and as long as I have access to a laundry facility, I don't have to worry about those 'what if we have spills' thoughts that all moms have while traveling.

I love mix and match styles for kids, especially Baby S. She's at that adorable age where she's exploring and discovering, and getting really dirty. When I shop for her clothing, I look for styles that will be comfortable and versatile. Andy & Evan is one of my favorite brands of children's clothing. It's a lot of fun for me to have a little girl to dress. After years of dressing my sweet, but all boy son in planes, trains and superheroes, I am glad to have choices of pink, flowers, pom-poms, and everything girly for Baby S. One on of our recent trips, I packed two baby girl tops (0-24 mo sizes) and a pair of shorts by Andy and Evan, for Baby S. The shorts were mix and match and went perfectly with either top, so it made packing a lot easier for me.
We paired the Hello Sunshine T-Shirt (shown above) with the adorable Pink PomPom Shorts (shown below). The Hello Sunshine shirt is so sweet! It's a super comfy t-shirt, with a little knot at the waist. The t-shirt features cuffed sleeves, as well as cute embellishments like sequins, in many different summer-like colors. The PomPom Shorts are available in either aqua or pink and look so cute with the Hello Sunshine T-Shirt. They feature pleats, a scalloped hem, dangling pompoms on each side, and a cute patterned bow at the waist. These are easy pull on shorts, which are amazingly handy when we need to do a quick diaper change.

What's more to love about these pieces is that they're durable. S is a rough and tumbles girl. She loves to climb, roll in the dirt, and get her hands (and clothes) dirty. She's worn both of these pieces multiple times, and I have been amazed at how well they wash and wear. I have had to spray the top a few times, but all stain have come right out. That means that S can keep wearing these cute pieces again and again until fall is officially here.
The other top that we love from Andy and Evan is the sweet Aqua T-Shirt with Ruffle Sleeves. The body of the t-shirt feels just like the Hello Sunshine shirt- very buttery soft! It's a light aqua color and matches the pink shorts so nicely. The patterned detail in the flutter sleeves is just so cute! Every time S wears this top, she looks like a sweet little butterfly! I plan on pairing this top with black leggings and a sweater if need be, this fall.
