Get Birthday Ready with Birthday Gift Essentials Pack from National Geographic Kids #review, #giveaway

Thank you to National Geographic Kids for providing me with product in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts are my own.

This fantastic Birthday Essentials Pack from National Geographic Kids came at just the perfect time to use for Aiden's birthday!  We enjoyed looking through our box of goodies. We love National Geographic Kids and this did not disappoint.
We have been enjoying all the many books from National Geographic Kids for years and have loved all our new books.  Aiden has spent time looking at them and now I am so excited to be able to take them to my classroom to share with my school kids as well.  Aiden's favorite from our books was definitely the Chomp book.  He loves anything about sharks and snakes and this book was full of animals of that nature.  That's one he can enjoy on his own.  I don't even like to look at the pictures of those.  I think I will stick with the Cat Tales.  I thumbed through it and love the pictures.  I can't wait until I have time to sit down and read the stories because they look really good.  We both enjoyed the Thank You book. I am very big on being grateful and thanking people for what they do for you.  I mail thank you cards a lot because I am truly thankful when someone does something for me and I hope I am instilling in Aiden the importance of being grateful.  This book helped Aiden on his level understand what it means to be grateful and thankful.  It had animal themed thank you post cards and they had the cutest sayings on them that had us chuckling as we read them.  Aiden enjoyed going through them and picking out which one went to which friend for his birthday gifts.  The other goodies in our box was post card stamps which we used to mail his thank you post cards, some really cute gift bags and tissue paper.  What a fun filled box for kids of all ages!

We enjoyed looking through this one and picking out special post cards for special friends.

Aren't these just the cutest?

This was a great book to thumb through, too.

Can't wait to read through this one.

Aiden's favorite.

I found this one really interesting.

Aiden loves space and planets, so will enjoy this.

White tissue paper to use in these cute gift bags.

We have a birthday party this weekend and using the cute pink bag for the gift.

We even got stamps that Aiden was able to use to mail his Thank You Post Cards.

It's the perfect book for space fans and budding astronauts.

Chomp! (ages 7-10, $12.99) - National Geographic Explorer and snake wrangler Dr. Brady Barr has been bitten by a lot of creatures over the years. So this book is born from first hand – er, tooth – experience of getting close to some of the biggest biters in the animal kingdom.  It turns out that there's a lot more to biting than meets the eye. Physical features and the how (and when and why) an animal bites reveals much about the animal itself. Chomp! highlights an array of awesome creatures with a diversity of chomp styles – from shredders and slicers to grippers and gulpers. Then it shows how tooth type, bite force, jaw shape, and food source all come to together to make each an incredible member of the animal bite force!
