Cool Back to School Lunch Box Sets from Tupperware + $25.00 Tupperware Credit #Giveaway #MBPBacktoSchool

Thank you to Susan Jackson, Independent Tupperware Consultant, for providing me with product in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts are my own.

Last week was my son's first week back to school. He started on Wednesday, which means that I have already packed three school lunches. B was able to pick out a new lunch box this year (last year's lunch box barely survived the school year), which he was really excited about. The lunch box has a Marvel character theme, which B loves... but recently, he's been totally into Batman. My husband loves Batman, so it's no surprise that B is starting to love him, too. When I looked through new back to school products from Tupperware a few weeks ago, I was excited to see a cool lunch box set that I knew my little Batman fan would go crazy over.

When packing lunches for my son and my hubby, I try to use storage products that will eliminate waste. One way that I am able to cut down on the amount that they throw away, is by using Tupperware containers to pack their yummies in. My good friend Susan Jackson just so happens to be a Tupperware rep, and is always keeping me up to date on the latest and greatest offerings from this fabulous company. Susan has a heart of gold, and she's reignited my love for a classic brand that my mother and grandmother used when I was growing up. Thanks so Susan, I am now stocking my own kitchen with Tupperware products. As we chatted about kids going back to school this month and next, she showed me some of the very cool lunch box sets available from Tupperware.

The Tupperware Batman Lunch Set

Most school days, B packs his lunch. Last year (his first year of school), I used lots of different containers, trying to cut down on our use of little plastic baggies. I wound up using 3-4 plastic baggies every day! What a waste. Many of the containers I used were too hard for B to open on his own, which cut down on his time to eat his lunch (he had to wait for the teachers to get to him to help him open the containers). The Batman Lunch Set from Tupperware features a cool Batman logo, and includes three pieces: a Sandwich Keeper, Snack Container with Lid, and a Tumbler with Lid & Spout.

The sandwich keeper holds large sandwiches and/or snacks, and is easy for kids to open by themselves.

B loves the Batman Sandwich Keeper so much! He loves opening it at lunchtime each day to see what his lunch is going to be. Surprise- the kid actually dislikes sandwiches, but I have found that the sandwich keeper is great for packing other meal items, as well. I've sent crackers and cheese, pizza, and leftover pasta in the sandwich keeper. None of the food sent has been heated in the sandwich keeper. It is dishwasher safe, but we're not putting it in the microwave for heating purposes. I like that I can use the sandwich keeper to hold multiple food items, like crackers, a stick of cheese, and a small cutie!

The sandwich keeper has plenty of room to hold a sandwich or other foods.

The snack container is perfect for holding small snacks.

We have used the Batman snack container and lid far beyond just school snacks. We've taken it to church on Sunday morning and in the car for snacks when running errands. It's the perfect size container to hold small things like grapes, mini cucumbers, snack crackers, or even tiny cookies. B loves when I put a couple of small cookies in the container and stuff it inside of his lunch box. It has a Tupperware lid, which is flexible, but secure, preventing leaks from occurring, and easy enough for kids to remove by themselves.

We ditched all of our other water bottles and traded them for the Batman tumbler with lid.

B loves character cups and tumblers. The Batman tumbler holds 16 oz and comes with a liquid-tight seal and flip top spout. This tumbler holds plenty of water for B to drink at snack time and lunchtime. I fill it up with fresh, filtered water every morning, and stick it in the side pocket of his backpack. The lid is tight and we've never had to worry about water spilling or leaking. The clever spout has an easy flip top and lets B sip his water, and then put the top down to keep the liquid secure in the tumbler. This has quickly become B's favorite cup.
