Date night this week was a Jack and Jill party for my husband's best friend, G.  In two weeks he will be marrying the love of his life. As a "last" hurrah we attended this Jack and Jill party to celebrate his happiness but also for some much-needed adult time. 

 After about 4 hours of driving, we arrived at the hotel with time to spare before check-in.  We decided to do a late lunch. We visited what looked like a hole in the wall diner but surprisingly enough the food was amazing and the adult beverage I tried was delicious. 

 After lunch we checked into the hotel and went to a laser tag, paintball, nerf gun, and dodgeball... so much for acting like adults.   Finally golf cart racing. Look at how much fun they are having. 

 Finally, the site I wanted to see the most...the Atlantic City Boardwalk.

This was one of the nicest trips we have taken because instead of it being a "last" hurrah we were able to show G. a good time, but also that your life doesn't end when you get married.  It is just the start of some of the best days of your life.  Congratulations G. We are so happy for you and cannot wait to see you get married.
