The loss of loved ones- most recently my grandmother, has thrown me into a spiritual haze. The disappointment of a missed opportunity has left me reeling. Feeling hurt and betrayed by people I have trusted and bent over backward for, in God's own house, has left me with a lot of questions. Though I have always held onto God's promises, I have doubted Him. Music has always been something that has pulled me out of isolation, out of my pit of despair.

This song is now my anthem. The very thought that God isn't finished with me yet, reminds me to keep going- to keep trusting. Life isn't easy... it's hard work. God never promised us days without trouble, pain or fear, but He never leaves us. He began a good work in each of us and will complete it when our work on Earth is done.
