It's almost time to celebrate! Baby S is turning ONE on April 4th, and we're so excited to be hosting a fun birthday party for her this Saturday. I knew months ago that I wanted to have a purple butterfly themed party for S. I started pinning ideas for decor and food before Christmas, and have spent the past few weeks getting everything in order for this beautiful party. Everyone knows that the first step to hosting a party is to choose your theme. After you've chosen the theme and have worked out the details, it's time to choose the perfect invitation for your special event.
Choosing a birthday invitation can be daunting. There are so many cute options, but invitations can be very expensive. I have found that one of the best ways to go, is to look for a custom or predesigned invitation on Etsy. You can find the invitation that matches your event theme, send over your information, and within 24 hours or so, you'll have a printable file for the invitation.
I was thrilled for the opportunity to work with Chelsie, owner of Printable Candee on Etsy. Printable Candee Designs is you one-stop printable party shop, and is open 7 days a week! Chelsie worked with me to create the perfect birthday party invitation for Baby S' birthday bash! I sent her all of the party info, as well as a photo of the birthday girl, and within just a couple of days, she sent me the file for the birthday party invitation.
After I received the adorable party invitation, I downloaded it to my computer. The file was available for 10 days, so I had plenty of time to download the file, which was a JPG. After downloading the file, I used an invitation kit from HP, to go along with my HP Envy printer, and printed the invitations at home. It would also have been just as easy to take the file to a print shop, and have them print the invitations for me.
Printable Candee has so many gorgeous invitations to choose from! I love the way the invitations turned out, and all of our friends and family love them, too! The invitation matches our theme so perfectly, and looks great! I was so thrilled with the way they turned out, and I am holding onto one for a special keepsake to put into S' baby book. We have another party coming up at the end of April, and I cannot wait to ask Chelsie to make another fun invitation.
