The Houston Handbag is a gorgeous faux leather bag. I chose this bag in black, though it's available in several different colors. It's a wonderful size to use as a tote, or as a purse. I love having large totes to use as my purses, because I am always toting a ton of stuff with me wherever I go. I pulled out a favorite designer handbag of mine last week, and said to my hubby, 'I love this bag so much, but it's just too small to carry everything I need to bring with me.' He said he understood why I need larger bags. Even he is guilty of asking me to hold onto his stuff when we're out and about... and my son is, too. I considered it a breakthrough moment in our relationship!

I knew just the person to have this tote personalized for. I would love to keep it for myself, but since it's Christmas, I am definitely thinking of others' needs before my own wants. The bag is the perfect size for an working gal, busy mom, or gal on the go- at any age! If you have a lot of stuff to carry, and you need extra room, but still want to keep things organized, this is the perfect bag for you!

The monogram on this tote is just beautiful. It looks so elegant against the chic black background.

Along with lots of color choices, there are several font choices and thread colors for the monogram. I always think that white or tan looks best on black. If you go with a bright or bold color, it sort of clashes with certain colors in your wardrobe. It's nice to be able to carry a classic bag like this with anything you may wear. Of course, if you're the bold type, definitely go bold! Do what suits your style!

The bag has lots of room inside- perfect for holding lots of items.

I love that the tote is pretty much open inside, and also has a zippered pocket. A zip pocket inside is a must for me, as I have lots of little items that I need to be able to find in a flash... personal items, tissues, lip gloss, etc. The black and white dot lining is adorable, too! The handles are the perfect length- they are not too long, and they're not so short that you can't carry this tote on your shoulder. It stays in place very well (a test for me is whether or not it slides down my shoulder when I put kids in their car seats). The tote is lightweight, and so easy to carry, It's a great tote to shop with, too- yes, I have certain bags that I will not carry with me when I shop, because they're just too heavy or too uncomfortable.


Bonus- another exterior pocket to hold more belongings!

Exterior pockets are fabulous! I love stashing little surprises in pockets like these! The more space to hold little items, the better the bag, I say! Another reason to love this bag, is that you can wipe it clean! I have kids- messy kids, and having the ability to wipe a handbag clean is awesome. I cannot do that with my leather bags... they would be ruined if I did that. This is the ultimate go-to bag for moms with little ones who love to play dress up, or make lots of inconvenient messes on the go.

Tassels are hot this season and our new monogrammed purse is sporting them! This large bag is made of textured, imitation leather and is great for the woman on the go! Plenty of room to stash everything you need for a full day out of the house. Inside features 1 zippered pocket, (2nd pocket is embroidered closed), stylish black and white chevron or polka dot lining (depending on outside color), and zipper closure.
