What does a tired mom need in order to get through the holiday season? I could certainly use a lot of things- sleep being number one! With two kids, a busy schedule, and a hubby who is always working, working, working, mommy gets worn out pretty easily, and the holidays can be a bit taxing. I want to enjoy the holidays with my family more than anything in the world, so there are a couple of things I fully rely on to make it through the stressful days of life.

More than anything, I rely on the grace of God to see me through. I am not perfect, and am so thankful that God's mercies are new every morning. I need His constant grace and love in my life. I was recently doing a little holiday shopping on Etsy, and I found Elly & Grace, a wonderful shop which offers beautiful Christian apparel. I connected with Brenna, designer and shop owner. We go to chatting, and I was so excited for the opportunity to feature Elly & Grace in our Holiday Gift Guide this year, I love to find gifts that are uplifting and meaningful, and Elly & Grace surely has them!

I always love receiving personal notes from the folks I work with. It just goes to show that they really do go the extra mile for their customers. Brenna is just as sweet as can be, and she truly loves her business, and knows how to take care of her customers and friends!

I had so much fun pouring over the cute designs available from Elly & Grace. I love Christian apparel that's cute... nothing that's too in your face. If you don't know this about me, I am deeply rooted in my faith, and am very involved in ministry at my church. I love God so much, and to serve Him is one of the greatest joys of my heart. When I saw the 'I Need Coffee and Jesus' shirt at Elly & Grace, I thought what a wonderful gift it would make! I thought of my sister, my mom, and even of myself. I did choose to keep this design for myself, because I fell in love with it... selfish, perhaps, but every now and then moms deserve a little something to make them smile.

I Need Coffee and Jesus Shirt from Elly & Grace

Is this shirt not adorable? I love the beautiful plum color. The shirt is available in different colors, and I almost went with a green or blue, but I hardly had any purple, and really loved the way this color popped. It's such a nice color for this time of year. The 'I Need Coffee and Jesus' print is in nice, wide, white letters, and a really cute font.

I chose this shirt, mainly because of the message. Sometimes I feel like 'oh, I shouldn't be so casual when I talk about Jesus,' but why not? Jesus was a man, sent to Earth to show us how to live... the Messiah who came to save the world. If you're like me, and you believe that Jesus walks with you every day, feeling the need for Jesus is a very real thing. I do need Jesus- I need Him every hour of my life... every moment. I feel His presence with me all the time, and there's no way I could ever deny my need and true desire for Him in my life. I also need coffee. I cannot equate my need for coffee to my need for Jesus, but honestly- I run on both. I drink decaf since I am nursing, so my need for coffee is a mental thing... seriously, though- don't approach me before I have had those first few sips of coffee in the morning. I cannot promise that I will willingly exchange pleasantries with a smile on my sleepy face.

This shirt is so soft and cozy. Baby S loves to cuddle up against it while she naps.

I love the way the shirt wears. It's my new favorite shirt- so cute and comfy. I can style it lots of different ways, too. I love to wear it with boot cut jeans and tennis shoes, or style it up with skinnies and booties. It looks great worn just about any way. It's a boat neck design up top, so it's a bit more open, which I love- means S can't drool all over the shoulders!
