I remember how excited I was the first time B used a little toddler mealtime set. I thought that seeing him use his own little plate, bowl, cup, and cutlery was so precious. Now that B is growing up, he still uses the little kid dishes every now and then, but he's ready to use what mommy and daddy are using. Baby S is too little for these types of sets just yet, but she wants to eat real food just like the rest of us, so I figure it won't be long before she starts using a mealtime set of her own! I can't tell you how excited I was for the opportunity to preview these new Care Bears products from Vandor. My sister and I loved Care Bears when we were growing up. Does Care Bear Stare ring a bell to any of you? I'm pretty sure that my sis and I had our own Care Bear items, including nightgowns! My little niece M is just over a year old, and she's starting to enjoy different foods. I thought the Care Bears Mealtime Set and Water Bottle would make excellent gifts for Christmas.

This adorable Care Bears mealtime set features a divided plate, a bowl, cup, spoon, and fork. The divided plate is a winner for kids and moms. I know my own picky eater hates it when different food touch on his plate- everything winds up contaminated and most of it goes down the disposal (or goes to mommy). I dislike wasting food, so keeping everything separated on his plate makes mealtimes a lot easier.

The bowl is the perfect size for little snacks, a bowl of cereal or maybe even some ice cream! Kiddos can scoop their food right up with the pint sized fork and spoon included with this set! The cup is just right for little hands to grasp and take sips from.

Another cute product in the Vandor Care Bears line- a Care Bears Water Bottle!

I love using water bottles. I have one that I use everyday, and hubby and B each have their own, as well. We don't make a ton of dirty dishes by using glasses, and we don't buy bottled water. B takes a reusable water bottle to school for his drink at lunch every day. It's a great idea to instill the idea of being friendly toward the environment early on. Giving kids their own small water bottles gives them a taste of independence, and gives you a teaching opportunity!
