My sleep isn't what it used to be. At the end of a long day (and trust me, they're all long), all I want is to slip into my cozy bed and cuddle up under the sheets. Since my pregnancy with Baby S, my sleep has been not so great. I was uncomfortable during the last months of my pregnancy, and then uncomfortable after my c-section. Crazy postpartum hormones are also uncomfortable, and I was in a constant hot/cold battle at night for many weeks. Things have settled a little bit, and I am resting much easier now, thanks to my soft, buttery new sheets from SOL.

My hubby and I really needed a good night's sleep. S is an awesome sleeper, but we were uncomfortable in bed due to less than luxurious sheets. Don't get me wrong, the sheets we were using were nice sheets, but we had no idea what we'd been missing out on until we received our first set of SOL sheets.

Our SOL sheets were nicely packaged, and came with an info card about the sheets.

We chose a light blue color in the plain sheet set for our room. We have teal blue accents, but I figured the light blue would work just as well. I have a phobia of white sheets! As soon as I removed the sheets from the package, I ran m fingers over them. I loved the way they felt, but knew that the true test would after I got the sheets onto the be. I gave them a wash (I always do this with new sheets), and then fitted them to the bed.

The sheet set came with a fitted sheet, flat sheet, and two standard pillowcases. When I crawled into bed later that night, I felt like I was slipping into a luxurious hotel bed. Seriously, I felt like I was in another world. I fell asleep so quickly and slept so peacefully in our new SOL sheets. Since that first night, I have had such a better time sleeping that I was experiencing before. I love getting to that sweet spot in the early morning, when I am not yet fully awake, but am not longer super asleep. I like to rub my bare feet back and forth across the sheets... I love the way it feels- so creamy and warm!


Ah, what an inviting bed!

I don't dread heading to bed anymore. I happily get into bed and fall asleep, super relaxed and loving my sheets. My husband is uber picky about our sheets, and he absolutely loves the sheets from SOL. This is our first pair of organic sheets, and we're so in love with them, I don't see how we could go back to sleeping on anything else.

The SOL sheets come in their own storage bag, made from the exact same material as the sheets. I toss the sheets into this bag when they need to be laundered, and wash the bag and sheets all together. I don't have another set of these sheets yet, but I am hoping to purchase one! I'd also love to have one of the SOL Duvet covers for our down comforter. I can only imagine how nice it would be to cuddle up in it with my sweet kids!
