Explore the World with Your Tiny Travelers: The Tiny Traveler Board Book Series

Thank you to Sky Pony Press for providing me with product in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions shared are my own.

How quickly time flies when you have a baby! Baby S is almost four months old, and it seems like I was just announcing my pregnancy with her yesterday. Three months is a really fun baby age. Babies begin to show their personalities, and start to become interested in things they see and hear. They're also much more vocal and have a longer attention span. One of the things I love to do with Baby S, is read to her. Reading to babies even at this young age is very important for their development.

This July, Sky Pony Press is pleased to announce the publication of two fun board books for kids from author Misti Kenison! The third and fourth books in Kenison’s Tiny Traveler board book series will expose toddlers to other countries and cultures while teaching them the basic concepts of nature and numbers.

We received these two beautifyl board books from our friends at Sky Pony Press!

I was excited to explore these books. Visually, they are stunning. I had a feeling that S would be captivated by the colors and shapes. My five-year-old son even showed an interest in these fun books!

THE TINY TRAVELER: JAPAN: A BOOK OF NATURE (7/5/16): From the tiniest bonsai to the peak of Mount. Fuji, your toddler will follow a beautiful nature trail through Japan. This new book from Misti Kenison in the Tiny Traveler series explains natural elements in the simplest terms for the youngest of travelers. Cherry blossoms, bamboo, and volcanoes are all illustrated in bold colors to capture the imagination. Toddlers will love finding rocks in the Zen garden, floating lotus blooms, yellow Japanese plums, and more in this delightful board book.

We had fun exploring Japan through this pretty book!

Japan is a country I'd love to see. A friend of mine from high school lives over there with her family, as her husband is stationed there with the Air Force. I love seeing her pictures, displaying the beauty of this wonderful country. The book is so pretty to look through, and I have been pleasantly surprise by how well it has held S' attention when we've read it together. The books shows us different landscapes in Japan, as well as things like flowers, colorful leaves, etc.

We love to travel, and we have been discussing taking a family dream trip to Italy. We've been to a lot of cool places- but we've never flown overseas! Italy is at the top of our 'must visit' list, and when I saw The Tiny Traveler: Italy, I took it as a sign that our trip is meant to be!

THE TINY TRAVELER: ITALY: A BOOK OF NUMBERS (7/5/16): How many gondolas float down the canal? Can you count the number of masks at Carnival? Travel from Rome to Venice as you and your little one count your way through Italy’s most famous landmarks. From one leaning tower to seven fresh pizzas coming out of the oven, you’ll catch the travel bug while teaching children the basics of counting!

Counting pretty masks worn during carnival in Italy!

It's been fun for us to read through these lovely books. We read them every couple of days, and S is just delighted to sit and stare at the pictures. I keep telling her that one day, she'll get to experience them for real! I can't wait to take my tiny travelers on an exciting trip overseas, but for now, we can travel to anywhere we please without having to leave home, thanks to The Tiny Traveler book series! We can't wait to add more to our collection!

Sit back and explore the world with your little one from your very own living room. Traveling to foreign places has never been so fun, or educational, for young children before!
